Biography

Larry Nikolai is a Senior Conceptual Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering and works in this industry for over 33 years. Nikolai has developed characters and shows for the theme parks, restaurants, television shows and product illustrations.

As a child Nikolai was already fascinated by Disney and the theme parks, which he recreated in his backyard in Granada Hills. He always kept drawing and sculpting and earned a degree in Fine Art Painting at the California State University in Northridge.

Nikolai has an impressive list of Disney Theme Park attractions he has worked on. He was the show designer for "Storybook Land" at Disneyland Paris, and "Sinbad's Seven Voyages" at Tokyo DisneySea. And finally, some interesting facts: Larry Nikolai was the voice of the director in Jessica Rabbit´s dressing room from the Disneyland attraction "Roger Rabbit´s Cartoon Spin". He is also the voiceover in the "Toontown Radio Show", "Downtown Toontown Mailbox" and "Meet Mickey".
