Tony Cipriano

On this page a short biography of the sculptor can be found along with a list of sculptures he or she made.

Biography

Tony Cipriano was born on October 9, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY. He spent his childhood in Brooklyn as well. Cipriano received a Bachelor of Fine
Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Cipriano has a Disney history: he has worked as an inbetween-artist on Beauty and the Beast (Gaston) and
Pocahontas. But he has also worked for Disney as a sculptor on the Disney Classics Mulan and Brother Bear. He had his own designing and sculpting studio (Cipriano Studios) in the time that he wasn’t working for Disney (in 1998). Later he became a freelance sculptor.

Cipriano has made Tod & Copper from The Fox and the Hound: these are the first figurines that were ever produced from The Fox and the Hound by the Walt Disney Classics Collection.
